How to Join the Team?

We always welcome people to help us out. If you want to, please follow the following guidelines.

• Contact us first on our mailing list.
• Make sure that you have an Alioth account, so that we can give you access/permissions.
• Have a look at our Alioth project page.
• When given access (there’s a delay before getting your account on svn.debian.org, see the Alioth FAQ for details), add yourself to the pkg-ruby-extras.team file (see also this page) and mention the addition in the changelog. For example:

  
    $ svn co svn+ssh://LOGIN@svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-ruby-extras/tools/ruby-pkg-tools/trunk/
    $ cd trunk
    $ vi pkg-ruby-extras.team debian/changelog
    $ svn commit -m "add NAME to the team" 
    

  This package will be uploaded once there are more significant changes. Please do not forget to add a comma at the end of the previous line, as this would break generated control files.
